i tried with reduced items yesterday but the till wouldnt allow it and the sa wouldnt try and put in manually.
they were pre self tan scrub and body lotion so i dont know if that had anything to do with it.

The voucher for £5.00 is only for the new Spa Skincare range in white packaging the £3.00 is for all sanctuary, i thought at least one of the cashiers wouls say i couldnt use them together, but i went to at least 5 diffrent cashiers and even the manager saw what i was doing, but they all said fine, (even the mean sa who always gives me hard time had no problem!)i think they thought when they scan it wont go through anyway, but it did so what can they say?

What an up and down day today

Boots 1. Loads of reduced items, inc lots of Soltan sun care stuff reduced to 50p. There was no sign ANYWHERE that this is on BOGOF, but I knew it was, so filled up with loads of reduced bits and bobs, went over £5, so got £5 no7 voucher

Boots 2 Got 2 SS products, inc skincare item, used £5 SS voucher I had found lying around the shop, £3 from Mag, AND 200 points from acm, and of course got free bag AND £5 no7 voucher. Also picked up Boots MAg

Boots 3 got 2 SS products, TRIED to use exactly same vouchers as in second shop, and NONE worked !!!!! and they didn't have any mags !!

    By the way.
Black beaded Max Factor Evening Bag - comes up on till as 0p, but is SUPPOSED to be free with 2 mf purchases. I honestly haven't seen a single sign to explain this, and I don't suppose if you DID actually buy 2 mf products the till would tell the sa to give you one free......so how anyone is supposed to know
Anyway. If you can get a friendly sa, or one who is not too on the ball, you should be able to get this FREE if you just slip it in with the rest of your shopping.

Luckily I don't have time to go out to Boots again.......or do I ?

To get the most money back, I considered taking one suncare item back at a time and exchanging it for something for the same value (that is not on BOGOF), then could take all of the 'new' (unwanted) items back to exchange for what I really want. But I thought this might be playing the system a bit too much and I shouldn't be greedy (and I don't want to arouse too much suspicion).

I agree with you here. Taking advantage of all offers and exploiting any loopholes is one thing - when you take your goods to the till and they say £x please then legally you are doing nothing wrong even if they perhaps hadn't intended to be quite so generous! BUT when you cross the line to getting full-price refunds on things you either haven't paid for (because they were free) or haven't paid full price for, then this is obtaining money by deception. Not moneysaving or consumer revenge anymore but committing a criminal offence. Not just my opinion but a fact, sorry.

Juliepink26 (you seem to be the Sanctuary vouchers queen!), do you think you could combine all the following offers in one transaction?
£5 off skincare voucher from demo lady
    £3 off voucher from mag
£2 off bathing voucher from No7 wrap
    150 extra points from ACM
    Free weekend bag

I think if you got one skincare item and one bathing item, all the above vouchers should work and you should be eligible for the free bag.

    Great haul today!!! :T :T :T

    Transaction one:

    2 x No7 sun stuff @ £7.50
    No7 wrap
Wilkinson Sword intuition razor blades reduced to £2.49 x 2 (I got a bit carried away with these, OH was a bit concerned! Put lots through in other transactions but you don't need to hear about them!)
John Frieda glaze £6.99 (anyone else read the Great Try Me Free Hunt thread?)
    2 x Boots disposable cameras
    MF box

Paid with No7 voucher, parenting camera voucher, and pigsback vouchers - was over £15 so got triple points, and another No7 voucher.

    Transaction two:

OH got a wilkinson sword quattro razor thingy with some free blades (again, Great Try me Free Hunt thread)
    Some over the counter medication
Some more razor blades for me

Over £15 so triple points and another No7 voucher.

Finally, in a different boots, took Sanctuary wipes and salt scrub bar to till, with free gift, £3 off from mag, and 200 acm points voucher. £3 voucher wouldnt go through - SA kept voiding and trying again, but convinced herself it was a till problem because it wouldnt even go through when she scanned the wipes on their own. She manually over rode it, so £5.90 to pay and another No7 voucher.

Exhausted now :rotfl: But now have 3 No7 vouchers to get rid of, and still not used my parenting voucher - I want to mask it with some other stuff so they don't realise how big a freebie I'm getting, but can't really justify any more stuff at the moment!
  • Managed to get to town, left kids with hubby (watching the liverpool V man u match ) and went Bootsing!!

No Sanctuary face skincare in either of our boots, so got Bath foam and Bath relaxer and free weekend bag, used £2 off voucher £7 to pay, got £5 No7 Voucher- then..

Face massager down to £4.99 free with voucher:p - then..

BOGOF on photo albums so 2 7x5 for £6, another £5 No7 voucher- then..

Pedicure set down to £4.99 free with N07 voucher,:p then....

Omega 3 vitamin tablets I get for my children anyway, 240 tablets for £10 instead of £20, another £5 no7 voucher given, then...

BOGOF on No7 Presun firm your body lotion and free wrap, also BOGOF on Naked so got 2x handcream £2.99 each, total to pay £6.40 was given another £5 no7 voucher- then...

No7 Secret hair trimmer, down to £5.99 minus £5 voucher total to pay 99p.:p

Altogether £30 spent for £95 worth of goodies , plus the no7 wrap, dont know what the value of that is.- Oh, and also new mag.:T

I would really like the weekend No7 bag and the no7 Mirror, I am hoping I can get some more pigsback vouchers whilst the £5 voucher offer is still on, so I can justify buying them for fiver each, rather than £15 each (or £20 as the prices stand without the £5 vouchers!!)

Not many points tho, as there was no 75 points off a £10 spend, I would have used that when buying the kids omega 3, I did print off the sanctuary, for use another time, must check to see if there is a voucher in my sanctuary bag, tho Im not bothered if there isnt, as I think Ive done rather well today:rotfl:
if you cant have what you want, be grateful for what you have :T
