Can anyone tell me whether
1) You can get a refund on No7 suncare (and which items have been successfully not classed as 'cosmetics and not eligible for refund')
2) Whether you can get the amount refunded onto a giftcard?
3) Whether the above can be done without a receipt?
I'm wanting to return some of my many bottles of suncream so I can get enough to buy either the No7 mirror or facial spa. Obviously I'll return them all one at a time.0 -

Can't return it at all - its "skincare" I tried to return some with the receipt (just wanted the wrap), and they said "No, its skincare, can't return or exchange unless faulty" Also bought a botanics 'body' gift set, and they still said no~*Cerenia*~

I've been doing exactly that today with Botanics stuff I got in the last promo.
I exchanged some at counter in 1 Boots and got a voucher as well so that was a result, but in the other Boots I got it put on a gift card, I didn't have receipts for any just said it had been bought as a gift and I don't use it could I exchange or put on a gift card? No problems at all as long as it's NOT FOOD, COSMETICS OR MEDICINES. HTH (SORRY CAPS STUCK:rotfl: )
Cerenia, the back of a Boots receipt says they cannot refund/exchange above, says nothing about skincare:j CRAZY NUTTER NO 16 :j:T MURPHY'S NO MORE PIES NO 15 :TSince Jan 2007Quidco £294, Not smoking £284, Tesco stamps £32, Wilkos £4Weight loss start date/weight 1st Feb - 15st 10lbToday 12th Mar - 14st 13lbvik6525 you are my inspiration xx0 -

Thanks Cereniabut on page 1 of this thread, it says:
² According to Boots Customer Care, "skincare" is classed as a "beauty product" and NOT "cosmetics" and is therefore suitable for return if you change your mind."
Is that not the case anymore?0 -

Did you just queue up and take them to the main tills? I'm not sure whether to go to the No7 one or not, and if you don't have a receipt, how can they tell that you havn't just picked it up off the shelf and that you had actually bought it before? I don't think I have ever returned anything, anywhere!0 -

1-The cheapest sanctuary stuff they had was just over £4 - silly me, i got two anyway just for the freebie.
2-Yes, loads of MF boxes but the lady was there and staring horribly at me,(she looked like she would jump down my throat if i so much as touched one) i came back round a few times to see if she had gone...no luck!
3-The No7 suncare range is not even labelled or signed anywhere stating BOGOF - didnt want to take it to the till and say it was and still try for the free bag cos SA would have def realised i wasnt entitled to the freebie.
4-No Benefit sharpeners at all - sold out apparently - grrr! I actaully needed one too!
5-Nothing in the machine about the FCUK washbag:mad:
6-No magazines either - SA said they hadnt recieved any yet (?!?).
To make it worse i had taken OH and baby with me and the two of them were being miserable all of the way round!
And can you believe this is all in the big boots store in croydon - what a joke. Oh well i have not been put off yet - im heading to brighton on busy saturday - hopefully i will have more luck there! And if it is triple points then all the better:T
ps. i think i saw a fellow mse'r, it was a guy, eagerly scanning the shelves of the sanctuary stuff, i think with a freebie in hand. I nearly askedhim but had to bite my tongue as he would have prob thought i was bonkers!:rotfl:
The suncare is definately BOGOF - I have bought the Facial Cooling Balm in the blue box at £7.50 - £5 No7 voucher and only paid £2.50 for 2 products and a free wrap. I have done this a few times over the last 2 days and always get the free wrap. :T Good luck!!I used to have a life............................... before MSE!!

At last managed to get one of the M F Boxes!! Several left if anyone looking for one. Had to wait for MF dragon to be distracted and got an Erace Cover Up Stick, (just in case!)
Also 2 Sanctuary Body Spritzes + Free Bag
Paid upstairs on main tills with no probs and the SA's were giving out the new mags....

I argued that, and the SA just glared and said "We cannot return or exchange skincare!" And i'm fed up with customer services, they're just as unhelpful.~*Cerenia*~
