Has anyone bought anything under £3 with the sanctuary voucher from the magazine? I'm thinking of trying to use up these vouchers ASAP before they sell out of all the cheap bits!

Ohhh, forgot my earlier small haul in the other Boots up the road!

    1 x Reduced No7 Uplifting firming mask £5
    1 x Reduced Boots detox 5 day set £7.50
    1 x Reduced Sanctuary Nail Cream £2.35
    ----
    - £5 No7 voucher (SA wasn't sure it'd work but scanned it, lo and behold :))
+500 point detox voucher from latest mag
    ---
    Total: £9.85 + 509 points.

I know I wouldn't get triple points as not over £15... but only 1 point per pound spent? I'm again baffled :rotfl:

i was very flustered by the SA (she made me go all the way to the back of the shop to swap the nappies i had because the bag was ripped, then she made me go back again cos they were 2 for £10...i was shattered by the time i'd finished!)

Silly SA she should have gone for you!

Going to go either to Kingston or Westcroft to spend my £5 Sanctuary skincare voucher and try and get a bag ;) I wonder if the £3 one from the new mag would go through at the same time?

The sa said I couldn't use the £5 no7 and £5 sanctuary vouchers in the same transaction but she looked like a bit of a jobsworth:rolleyes:
  • Hi all.Have been enjoying reading this thread for the past few weeks (and benefiting from the tips, thanks!) but just thought I would share what I have done with the many bags of Boots goodies that have been collecting under my bed..

Like many others,I had the Suncare 6 for 1 among other things, and enough Botanics to moisturise a small country so I decided to try and do some good with it all.Looked up 'Women's Aid' online and found a couple of refuges near to where I live in Hertfordshire. These centres house women and their children in need of a place to stay as a result of an abusive relationship.I imagined, as they are a charity, there would not be much in the budget for treats so I called them and asked if I could donate.

I went and got some of the Avent Starter Packs to add to my haul and a few more toiletries and dropped them off this morning and they could not have been more pleased. One of the staff said they had been trying to find some way of offering some treats to the ladies and they would make up some goody bags for their get together on Monday.

I couldn't have got through everything I had accumulated and returning items that had cost me nothing somehow seemed contrary to the whole notion of money-saving (Although I HAVE done it of course!) But this felt so much better it has to be said. Thanks to you all for the tips and hints.
  • I saw and fell in love today. No not a handsome male boots sa (do they exsist?) The No7 Bag for £20, looked at it, drooled at it, promised i would love it forever - as soon as i get another £5 on Pigsback to earn my first £10 voucher to be used in conjunction with the current £5 voucher. £5 is a more respectable price to pay and more within my budget!

Any ideas ladies and gents on how i can do this without spending too much extra money via pigsback.

The bag shall be mine -i need it to hold all my freeby make up froom Boots at least!

    Thanks guys

Decided against getting the Sanctuary free gift today in Burton- on- Trent as someone had gone through all of the small display of them. All the cardboard surround was ripped off and even thrown on the floor. Someone must have been really desperate to get the vouchers inside. Hope there wasn't any.

I just got the No7 Invigorating Face & Body Massager free with the £5 no 7 voucher and a 50p avent kit they had two shelves full of them. SA queried both saying cant get electricals with the voucher and avent starter kit must be wrong. She was nice about it though and said I will try for you anyway and of course it went through she looked very surprised and said I will have to get one too you know they were £9.99 don't you.

Also, do you lot think this would work:

    £4.95 sanctuary wipes
£3.95 sactuary salt scrub bar thingy

    - £3 skincare voucher
    + free bag
    + No& voucher

The website does include the salt scrub bar thingy as in the offer for the free bag... it would leave a total spend of £5.90

thats clever!! one of the cheapest body items that are readily available + the wipes are cheapest sanctury stuff in the new packaging that will got through with the £3 off voucher :T
also i think you'll be able to use the 200 points voucher or 150 points voucher from the acm against the body item your going to buy - do let us now if this works

    thanks

i would have done that myself but i paid with points so couldnt have used the £3 of voucher.

Today i got: Sanctury Hand Wash & conditioning stuff £3.95
    & Sanctury S/Scrub Bar £3.95

so paid £7.90 with points & got the bag free
