I got a wrap free when I used my parenting voucher.
I bought No7 hydro quench night sorbet (15.50) I also bought nivea shaving gel Sanctuary facial wipes. I handed over 1x mens and 1x womens skincare voucher, 250 points from another wrap, 100 points for sanctuary purchase, 1x £16.00 parenting voucher which left me about £2.50 (ish) cash to pay. The SA told me she had worked for Boots for 10 years and the have now changed their policy. You can have free gifts when paying by whatever means you like (vouchers/cash/points) She did say that a few years ago you did have to actually hand over the said amount (e.g £15.00 for wrap) in cash/on a card.
She was impressed with my haul that day though:heartpuls Miss Cheivous :heartpuls:A Boots Tart in Training :ABoots AC points - £28.210 -

topbanana2803 wrote:No you do not have to spend £20, the sa is wrong... all the store advertising says spend £15 and get a free wrap it doesn't say unless you've got a voucher then it's a £20 spend!!!!!!
Plenty of people have bought suncare (bogof) and got the wrap and used the voucher so I'd go to a different sa
I definately wont be going near the counter she works at again, will stick to pharmacy and photo i think!
Glad she wasnt there when the 641 was on, can just see it now:mad:
Say if i do get bogof suncare and use a voucher, and if i get questioned, can someone suggest something for me to say? I would probably turn into a mess if another sa starts saying the total spend must equal £15. Aaarrrgghhh:eek:Why me?!?
I did get the no.7 lash curler for 99p with no problem from the photo counter, but i saw the bad sa after that and it has put me off quite a bit now.
I found the weekend bag here by the way, there are loads of them, looks lovely but told myself i really dont need it.0 -

Just something along the lines of, "oh, I didn't realise it was bogof, there's no point of sale anywhere(posters), could you cancel the transaction and I'll go find something else to make it up to £15".......exit sharpish!:j CRAZY NUTTER NO 16 :j:T MURPHY'S NO MORE PIES NO 15 :TSince Jan 2007Quidco £294, Not smoking £284, Tesco stamps £32, Wilkos £4Weight loss start date/weight 1st Feb - 15st 10lbToday 12th Mar - 14st 13lbvik6525 you are my inspiration xx0 -
I went to boots today and was good and tried to put it through in 2 transactions so as to get 2 lots of vouchers. I havn't a lot of money at the moment so paid by points. I questionned the SA when she didn't give me a voucher and she said I couldn't have any as I paid with points!
She didn't say this until AFTER the transaction. Is it worth ringing customer services or was she right?
New to all this bootsing lark but am slowly getting the hang of it0 -

She is right, if you pay with points you won't get any vouchers in return, nor will you get any points.
