They had loads of Avent kits in Purley way Boots, and they were marked as 50p.
I picked up the last mens deodrant, so still have one of each voucher left! Thanks for the ladies who mentioned this deodrant. No more boots 100 point vouchers left for botanics products, and no mags available. 45p is a bargain though!
Also found a botanics gift set in the ladies section for £2.49 but SA said it wouldn't work as the voucher doesn't include gift sets, so I put it back."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -

jaspalc wrote:Hiya fellow bootsers , please could someone describe what the Boots no 7 weekend bag looks like.....I would be really grateful for a link - if there is one.
I assume that this would be free with the £5/£16 parenting voucher(due to it having the same barcodes)??
Also have people who bought the facial sauna found it to be a useful product - would you recommend it?? - would love to hear peoples experience with it. Many thanks!!XX
Yes - would def recommend. Have just bought it with points and used it tonight and am very pleased, it was very refreshing and excellent if you have combination skin/sinus problems as it works a treat! There are also 4 other little gadgets with it: heated eyelash curler, cooling gel eye mask, mini hair trimmer, facial massager/exfoiliator & batteries, which for £22 I think is great value. Also the box it comes in looks nice and it's robust, so you could keep it in there or re-use.0 -
moneypennyless wrote:I picked up the Hydro Quench Sauna mask which was £9.50 (cheapest in the range from what I could see) and a lippy limited edition which is on offer at the mo, for £6, wanted the nail varnish in the matching range (whispers colour) but they were reduced to £5.50 so that meant I would be hunting round for something worth 50p just to get the wrap. Lippy really nice though, little bit of spring shimmer. Used the 250 points voucher and then £10 pigsback voucher leaving a fiver to pay.:D
I fancy the Hydro quench daycream which is £14.50, which again is a pain if you wanted the wrap and only wanted the cream in the no7 range, as impossible to find anything for 50p to bring total to £15 for free wrap. Saw the N07 weekend bags, now they are beautiful, but a lot of money for £20. Hoping that Boots start issuing the No7 £5 vouchers again soon, wishful thinking on my part, I know!!
could you not just mix other purchases with your fourteen pound fifty hydro quench purchase and the wrap would go through? I have had a wrap go through when i spent less than fifteen pounds on no 7. The assistant barely noted the fact that i had no7 purchase let alone how much it cost. Works with the five pound parenting voucher as well. It goes through as 00.00 would it not work like the other freebies where people have been putting them through with anything?:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.0 -

yes i think this would work but you would have to have enough no7 purchases to make it look like it was £15 worth if you get what i mean then they'd just scan it thro happy as larry but if you only had say a cleanser or sumthn they'd be suspicious and probably look and the total to check how much it would come to & whether you were entitled to the wrap

I thought the till beeped on this one if you didn't spend the required £15. I remember people saying the glycolic peel glitch had been fixed, and so they could no longer get the wrap through for only an £8 spend....0

You could add a £1.50 self-tan wipe. That would make it £16:TI used to have a life............................... before MSE!!

gave points, which we were not pleased about

points there instead, perhaps things have altered

opticians that was a shop on its own,not based in
a Boots store, perhaps these have a different policy.
Boots opticians is treated seperately, and pays 1 points per pound, or that was the scheme quite recently while I was on the contact lenses subscription. I got the points put on when I picked up lenses, I don't think there was any automation to it.Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -

But its £15 for the wrap not £16 so she would have got one if the stuff she picked up was £9.50 and £5.50 that equals £15.Bringing up 2 handsome boys and 1 gorgeous girl the MSE way!Joseph born 19th December 2001Matthew born 8th August 2007Tara born 23rd January 20110 -
