I've tried to sign my parents up with 18866 but the message is they can't accept the AOL email address as AOL block their emails and ask you to register with another email address.
They don't have another email address- god forbid it would confuse the hell out of them!
Has anyone else found a way over this problems? We're on AOL but have been for ages and it wasn't a problem when we signed up.
Thanks.

Can you sign them up with a hotmail or gmail address so they can sign to 18866 or alternatively you could add their number to your account, if you trust them to pay their half of the bill0

try http://www.galaway.com/
Galaway Mail - free public email service. It is probably the only server on the Net which offers POP3, SMTP, IMAP and web access, 100mb disk quota. Anti-spam and anti-virus protection.
The free service allows you to receive e-mails via pop3 server but not to post, if this is too much to understand and set up, there is a webmail access that you can receive and post with.0
