I really am a disgrace aren't I, my life so far is just baby > man-baby > shallow moron, I really haven't amounted to much.
Sorry I forgot I don't deserve to buy a bigger house because I am still young and have worked since leaving school.
How silly of me to plan for future family expansion now at the age of 28, I really must be a moran.
How many people have criticised you? I’ve feeling it’s only one.0 -

I think the gist was "there's more to life than buying a house". Which could apply to a lot of people here.0 -

I would say quite a few users, so propably 1 or 2 actual people.I think the gist was "there's more to life than buying a house". Which could apply to a lot of people here.
I agree completely, hence why I am 28 and buying now, I had much fun and spent a bit too much earlier in life, I will also add its not going to be a stretch to buy the house we are, if anything after all bills are paid and we have eaten it wil still take less than half of our combinded income, never mind the profit my business is generating which is slowly increasing.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017
Quit day job to run 3 businesses 08/02/2017
Started third business 25/06/2016
Son born 13/09/2015
Started a second business 03/08/2013
Officially the owner of my own business since 13/01/20120 -

If only there were more like you. I only hope that my sons have the gumption and vision that you have (so far they have all the signs.)
Try the Nice Peoples thread, it's much calmer and you can have a good discussion with NICE people
And that's not a dig at anyone on here, just saying... 0 -

The meaning of that sentence is totally undefined though.
I could just as easily say "there's more to life than slaving away to pay rent until you die".
It's just one of many decisions, making a decision to save for a house doesn't mean your life is centred around it.Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”
Said Diogenes, “Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.”0 -

We get people moaning about lax lending practices pre-cedit crunch that allowed low paid workers to get highly leveraged mortgages to buy houses and then the same people moan that low paid workers are going to have to save for years to get a house (mainly because lending practices have been tightened). Does it not all seem a little juxtaposed?
No.
What weird logic.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0
