Fisher Price "Little People" Farm -how do you turn it off?

We bought a second hand little people farm, which plays animal noises when things are pressed or moved.
Our little one loves it, but I would like to be able to turn it off when I put it away as it does scare you if you knock it and you get a loud MOOOOO!!
I just can't find an on off switch. Does it have one, where is it? Otherwise I could just take the batteries out.

If its the one i have, its a little switch on the base. You have to turn it upside down to see."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0

Cannot help you, but just to say my friend has the same problem with this, except it goes 'Moo' whenever it likes and scares them to death when they are settled down for the a night of TV!!

I have looked everywhere for the switch and can't see it. Can you tell me where it is.

the garage switch is underneath the top yellow deck, the section that the red circular ramp is on. (or it is on ours)

on the underneath, next to the battery compartment...
it's very obvious - which suggests yours can't have it, or you'd have seen it by now?!0 -
Thanks bumpybecky
but my little people farm does not have any grey plastic underneath the battery compartment is in the green bit and I think I am just going to have to live with the fact there is no switch.

My dd got the little people school bus at the weekend and its driving me insane already (it sounds really scary), she already has the aeroplane but i can live with that. Why cant they put on/off switches on toys?
She used to have a Gloworm but no on/off switch, so we just had to take the batteries out as it would only take a little touch for it to be on constantly.

take the batteries out!!!
whilst a lot of the moos toys have off switches and also 'quieter sound' switches she had one spinning top with no on off switch that played the most annoying tune as loudly as possible that went on for about 5 mins. i had to remove the battery as it was driving me mad.
we also find her vtech walker starts playing random sounds even when no one has touched it.There's someone in my head, but it's not me0 -

Oh I'm glad it's not just our one that does that Anty - it plays "twinkle twinkle little star" in an annoying way just out of the blue.
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0
