Re-Registering for Job Seekers Allowance

Hello,

Can someone please tell me how long before its possible for someone to sign on for JSA after signing off for reasons other than finding employment? For example, I think if someone misses to sign on two consecutive occassions they are automatically struck off. How long before someone can sign back on for JSA?

Cheers

  • I'm not sure what the rules are once you've had your JSA sanctioned but I think I heard that it's 13 weeks. Is there no information about this on the DWP website?

I daresay an argument could be made that if someone couldn't be @rsed to go to their appointments then they didn't really need the money.
