I've been off work two days waiting for the redelivery but I'm not self employed. The bed was about £600.

I guess also it's not that I refused their offer I just didn't accept it and said I'd need to think about it. I explained politely about the waiting in for two days and about the 'spare' beds getting in the way. They are phoning me back tomorrow so I will see how it goes. I was just wondering what to do really but it's made me a realise that a goodwill gesture is just that, and I should probably accept it
  • I would calmly and politely reiterate what happened (write a list to remind you rather than trying to remember when on the phone) and ask if they can improve on their offer. If they say "no, it is final" then take it - you never know.
