Just wondering if anyone else is having problems with this?

After getting advice on here I have been using it for quite a while and generally find it great except for watching ITV player etc. as it doesn't block the Tv ads like it does on Firefox.

But recently I seem to be getting more and more ads on ebay, yahoo amongst others. Really annoying when you are used to not seeing them!! Also it's the stupid ones that track what you have been looking at online and suggests things to you.

Is anyone else finding the same, and is there a fix for it? I have uninstalled and installed again but it's still the same?

Can't say I've noticed. However it might be that advertisers are using alternative sources to serve the ads, sources that have not yet made it onto the EasyList (which most people use as it is the default).
  • Try the first fix suggested in this link https://adblockplus.org/en/known-issues-chrome

Your other problems will probably be solved with Chrome 17 which should be due any day now. It is supposed to bring the improvements in the experimental version of adblockplus to the stable version.
I've been using the experimental version for a while now and adblocking is greatly improved. Well worth it if you don't want to wait.
  • The latest version of ABP allows "non-intrusive" ads by default. You can turn it off in filter preferences.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.

Unless it's really well hidden, that hasn't made it to the Chrome version yet.:)

    Thanks everyone for you replies!

It's still happening at the mo but I think I will hold out for the new version of chrome then first before I make any changes?

    Working ok now! :D

I never changed anything - just waited for Chrome 17 and it seems to have sorted itself now!

Does the AdBlock work with Adverts on things like ITV player now? As in does it remove the adverts during the program play?

I've wanted to switch to Chrome for a while, but this alone put me off, it made it no better than FF in my eyes. If it now does work with the TV adverts then I will switch over, especially as the adverts now show on Ch4 OD with Adblock & FF. (Adblock had to be disabled to play the content)
