  • The guy you are referring to is Dan, the owner, he does make some funny videos, hes a nice chap. As for the best before date, Approved Foods specialise in clearance and short dated stock, but ive never had anything that wasn't good from them.
  • Ergh. I've tasted replacement shakes that used out of date powder.

    Rancid. Literally.

  • Hi jojo, what ones were they, i have never personally tasted shakes with out of date' anything, so cannot comment, only past their bbe. I have tasted these though, they are gorgeous, well the two flavours i have tried, i think you are confusing best before date with use by, these are not out of date, this is a use by date you are looking at, which is purely an unscientific guestimation as to how long they will stay at peak freshness. Dry goods to my knowledge do not go rancid, unless exposed to moisture. Whether these actually work as a weight loss system is another question, im not starting the programme until Monday, so do not know.
  • Slimfast. Ick.

I probably am confusing the two - didn't notice there were two dates on them. And you saying that they were fine is a good indication they are still fresh. Can't beat direct experience :)
