in Cutting tax
Hi everyone, I'm new to the site so please bear with me. I've just phoned the VOA to reduce my council tax band.
I was told that the banding was done using the square footage of my porperty, and the other style housing were the same band.
But nearly all the houses in my close and surrounding are band E.
Also a style which is the same if not larger than my house is a lower band.
The gentleman implied that our house was larger and not to bother. He also informed me that the intergal garge was not used for the banding, if this is the case, our neighbours house is definitely bigger as they have a detached garage.
All help welcome.
