It was night time and I was going a bit fast, but usually following other speedesters.

Never saw a flash nor pulled over - does this mean that I didn't trigger any speed cameras?

    No...............

Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

I've checked records and I'm afraid you activated average speed cameras between J13 - J12 at 87mph.

Seriously, what do you expect us to say in response to your post? You must be aware that not all speed enforcement devices provide a visible flash? ;)

By your own admission you made a conscious decision to "follow other speedesters" so you'll have to wait a couple of weeks to see if anything comes through at the address listed on your car's V5.

Why speed if you're worried about it? - You've brought it on yourself if you get a letter asking for your licence and cash.

OP - if you don't exceed the speed limit, you won't have to worry about whether you may get a ticket for speeding.

I've done this before, fascinating. Didn't get caught by any speed cameras though.

PS. it's pretty rare to see speed cameras which use visible light flashes on the motorway. You're most likely to be caught by an officer with a radar gun or a SPECS average speed camera if you went through any road works.

HADECS in the variable limit sections of various motorways use a flash.

I have heard all sorts of excuses for why I should speed in the past including one boss who told me he expected me to do 56mph through the roadworks on the M1 thanks to the 10 percent rule with speeders and that all the other drivers in the company do it (18t truck). I refused and kept it at the speed limit, but I have cruise control for that.

My car doesn't have that. On the speedo at 50mph I'm actually doing 44mph, and if I do halfway between 50 and 60 on the speedo, that's about 50mph. It is clear there are a lot of people with cruise control in cars now, but I've had points before and it's not worth the stress.

Yes, you can keep up with the speeders or you can drive safely. You also mention you didn't see the speed cameras, and yes you said it was dark but I wonder what else you missed ;)

I have seen people walking down the motorway hard shoulder in the past in dark clothing, parking their cars without hazards part the hard shoulder and L1 and also trying to change a tyre in L1 of the motorway, although that was in daytime.

Either way, speed doesn't always help. But who am to lecture but another driver on these roads you abuse so clearly :D:D:D
