audio files for websites

hi again

was looking to put video on youtube to share but will be to large as may be between 40 -50 minutes each week

if I did audio only can I put in on some sort of sharing site like youtube then just link to it from website? have seen it done on some sites , where just shows audio controls and plays sound only .

Can anyone help ?

You could host the audio on your own website and embed it into a webpage...?

i have been trying for hours an cannot seem to get a ausio player embedded on a googlesite.

anyone any otehr ideas ? I seen a site called sound cloud but not free, any like this that are free?

I'm not really familiar with these template-based hosting solutions -- they seem quite limited in what you're able to do with them. It might be easier to just use a normal web host where you can design the site yourself -- I dunno...?
