Hi guys
Over the years I’ve collected about 200 of my favourite recipes and have saved them in a special World Folder. The recipes come from various sources: newspapers, magazines, favourite cookbooks, and of course straight cut and paste menus from the internet.
Now that I’ve moved into the 21st century and got myself a Kindle I’d like to create a Kindle book of all these recipes, trouble is of course I don’t have a template.
My idea would be to have a Chapter dictated to individual topics e.g. Soups, Desserts, Chicken and if possible a table of contents where say if I were looking for Chicken Curry it would be hyperlinked to that particular recipe if that were possible
I’ve carried out some Google searches but to date all I can find are paid templates anyone able to direct me to a free word template which might do what I want.
Many thanks for your help.
Kevin

Just searching back through threads about the kindle and happened upon this.
I had a 5 page .doc that I wanted to put onto Mrs B's kindle. Not for any real reason - just because
The calibre wouldn't do it - maybe needs an add on ? - so I opened up foxitreader (which I use for pdf files) and then chose open and opened the .doc and then saved it as a pdf.
Maybe not ideal, but certainly an option.0 -
Spent loads of time googling for templates. Never saw this site in the listings. Top job.Never Knowingly Understood.

Only just seen this.
Another alternative would be to convert the Word docs to PDF format which the Kindle can display. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
