    This is pretty much standard up my way. I only ever recall having a signature requested when I've had something delivered via Special Delivery. My regular postie just either shoves stuff through the door with the recorded bar code still on it, or if it won't fit it gets dumped on the doorstep for all to see.

  • I've had a few problems lately with Recorded delivery, I know if you send recorded letters to PO Boxes then it takes a little longer, Also if you send recorded/special delivery letters to Jersey and so on they dont use an EPOS system so it will take even longer but if you ring up they will send a personal letter with the signiture ect. :)
