Had a hunt online and it looks like they've had a row with Tesco:

even more reason, if reason be needed, not to shop at TescoPeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

The rasperry flavour Bonne Maman is on the "approvedfood" website for 99p - approvedfoodNot even wrong0

It does seem a shame that more people won't buy British made jams instead - Wilkins, for example, is of an extremely high quality.0

Bonne Maman jams and conserves are no longer on shelf in Tesco after the retailer rejected the supplier’s call for a price rise to cover soaring costs.
You don't like Tesco because it refused to increase its prices?
No I don't like tesco becuase of how they treat their suppliers and expect them to take a loss so that Tesco can make profit. If they were that keen on keeping prices low they would pay the supplier what it wants and cut their margin on the item not the suppliers!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Another vote here for the aldi version I buy the sour cherry conserve and it is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced for a conserve.
Bon Maman is undoubtedly the best, love raspberry on scones etc... if you find the mandarin marmalade definitely try it! Followed by Wilkin & Son, Tiptree, you must try their marmalades for the sheer variety! (I'm not a lover of sour marmalades). It's always best to buy when on offer, in the past BM have regularly sold at 2 for £3.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

How far are you from the nearest Aldi? Luckily for me my nearest is about about 6 miles away. Mind you I haven't been for a while as I usually stock up quite a bit when shopping there. I've also got two large panniers which I take with me and try and fill them with as much stuff as I can when there as well. I prefer to bike it there as it's quite a walk and quite a distance from my house to the bus stop, plus it works out cheaper than having to rely on the buses.

Yes, I've also tried Lidl's jams and they are pretty good aren't they. About the same price as Aldi's conserves as well.
I actually started buying Aldi's and Lidl's jams and conserves as I didn't like Tesco's and ASDA's own jams, I started to get fed up with the taste after a while even though they were quite cheap.Another vote here for the aldi version I buy the sour cherry conserve and it is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced for a conserve.
I must try the sour cherry conserve next time I do a shop there. I'm not really a fan of cherry jams or conserves though will give it a go.
Aldi's Grandessa conserves, jams and marmalade also score quite high as well according to food critic Martin Isark of Supermarket Own Brand Guide.

Don’t forget to factor in p&p though if you buy quite a few jars this might out weigh the extra cost.It does seem a shame that more people won't buy British made jams instead - Wilkins, for example, is of an extremely high quality.VfM4meplse wrote: »Going to try it!

Yes, I've also tried Tiptree's jams and conserves in the past, they are very good alright though may be a little pricey for some. Unfortunately I don't have a B&M near me though. The nearest one is in Slough which is about 18 miles from away from me.0 -
