I buy this jam when it's on offer but I noticed that Tesco had none at all in the other day and Sainsburys only had their marmalade. Does anyone know if it's still being produced?

Well my store had the jam in stock earlier and enough of it too so id say yes its still made0

sure is as my store sells it - I only know because my last customer tonight bought some - strawberry conserve at the princely sum of £2.29! I adore the stuff, I used to travel a lot to France and bring it back. Actually the last time I was in Tesco, perhaps a month ago, they didn't have any of it.
So try Asda !0 -

None in my store, was looking for it myself last week.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Might be currently out of stock at Tesco. Have you tried other stores? Or check online for stock availablity.

Sainsbury's appear to be the cheapest for Bonne Maman Strawberry Conserve which is currently £1.98. ASDA funny enough is the most expensive at £2.24 followed by Waitrose at £2.12. Same goes with Bonne Maman Blackcurrant Conserve though Bonne Maman Apricot Conserve is currently £1.93 at ASDA, Sainsbury's sell this for £1.98. Bonne Maman Berries & Cherries Conserve is also £1.98 at Sainsbury's and Bonne Maman Bitter Orange Marmalade is currently £1.99 also in Sainsbury's. These appear to be current cheapest.0 -
Its more then likely they've pulled it from the shelves for a few months: this time of the year is when people try to save, it happens every year (at this time of the year) and lasts until Easter or the end of the tax year. People buy less of the expensive brands and stick to cheaper value ranges. So value ranges increase their prices and expensive lines get pulled.
Something similar happens just before Christmas in terms of the 'dieting' foods, (eg Weightwatchers own brand and so on) people shop less for these brands and then supermarkets pull them from the shelves, stock more of the sugar laiden stuff and price it higher then normal. Its all about shelf space and making money.0 -
Thanks for the replies. I need to (a) look harder for it (b) wait until Easter or (c) go to France on holiday. Will plump for (a) for the time being:)0

Would you be willing to try cheaper non banded jam? I buy Grandessa Conserve from Aldi and it's pretty good too and only 89p.0

I wish I had an Aldi nearby - I had forgotten how gorgeous that conserve is! Now you have reminded me I am craving it on toast with plenty of butter :T0
