    Hi all,

    I'm in again :)

I didn't manage much last week, but with DH's help the house has survived! I spent yesterday afternoon listing stuff on ebay - I only found 16 items to sell & that was really scraping the barrell. I don't know where you all find things to sell - all my clothes are so well worn once I've finished with them, they are only fit for the bin! DH & the kids are quite attached to their stuff too :o BUT I have 1 bid and 2 watchers so I'm quite pleased!

I tidied a small corner of my study so I'm quite chuffed with that.
I almost finished my parents VAT return & will finish that tonight.

No afterschool clubs tonight so I'll get on with this list when I get home from work & hope to finish before DH gets home from work.

    Ruth

Well yesterday didn't go to plan at all :(. Finished work at 3.30, picked up DD & was on my way home to do my flying when I got a text from DS to say that the friend who always gives him a lift wasn't at school  So I had to turn around! We live 40 mins from school so there isn't really enough time to go home & go back to get him & I've not got enough petrol to waste on that. So DD & I sat outside school for 90 minutes in the cold waiting for him.
Well, we did pop into the train station & I bought a cup of tea and 2 sausage rolls for the kids which cost me £4  Bit cross really as I never waste money on stuff like that - but DD was really cold and hungry & I knew DS would be when he came out too.

Got home at 6.15, tired and grumpy, so not much flying done. Quick S&S of the kictchen & finished the VAT/website update for my parents.

    Must try harder tonight :o

Grrrr... have to vent  Apologies not a nice topic!

Just had a run in with our neighbours... Went out to take some recycling to bin in front garden and neighbour opened her door and accused one of my cats of doing its business in her front garden this morning. Explained it can't have been one of mine as all three have been in all morning (it's been drizzling/raining here all day and none of them are keen on going out in it). She said she knows it was mine as she saw him doing it. Re-iterated that it can't have been my cat as they are all inside (they haven't been out as we have no cat flap and they get let out manually). Anyhoo, she carried on and on and even demanded I go and clean it up for her. I obviously can't do this as am 20 weeks pregnant tomorrow and am not supposed to go near cat business. She ended up slamming her front door whilst telling me she is going to set the RSPCA on me. I wouldn't mind so much but it CAN't physically have been one of my cats unless they have somehow miraculously learnt to transcend walls :rotfl:

Anyhoo, progress report to keep me on track :o

    hi

right then well here is my progress report...

i have spend the last hour in one of my rooms of doom - trying to find the floor..now all the toys are just shoved into any old storage space in the hope that now i can walk into the room i can find the motivation to gradually go through all the toy boxes one at a time, day by day, and babystep my way to getting rid of some of this clutter in their room...

I know my biggest enemy is thinking i should sell toys, but i never do, and so they sit around and get wrecked and then they can't be sold...

so i just need to get rid of them to the charity shop..

so i am determined to go through one box at a time...

    now back to the lists..

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room

Popping in, been working my behind off most of the day trying to generate some order. I'm shattered, filled 5 bags with rubbish/recycling and still looks no better. Argh I hate this house so much. Anyway I'm going to do a list here, see if I can stop dotting and get something to look better. Namely the kitchen as my Chef is sat in a box, as is my coffee maker!!!!

Clear & Clean right bench - put halogen oven dish/trays etc in to soak
Clear & Clean bench where coffee machine is to go
Clear & Clean under heating system
    Clear & Clean sink area
    Clear & Clean dishwasher

Double strength cup of tea and restart at 3pm for a HHC!
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
