fitting a multi fuel stove

in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
I am wondering how much work is involved in fitting a multi fuel stove.

I have a chimney and a there is currently a gas fire fitted, but would like to have a multi fuel stove fitted.

I will still run my heating off the gas but would like another source of heat, in previous houses I have had either an open fire or a parkray and really miss the heat that you get from these that is not the same from a gas fire
