:mad::eek::mad: What a lovely subject!!!
We re vamped our cloakroom and bathroom about 10 years ago. Foolishly choosing top end toilets Philippe Starck and Galassia Arke. The seats for these toilets to replace are over £100 each. But as they are definate shapes I have no alternatives. The materials these seats are made with, have stained badly and I believe that they are currently still being made from the same materials. I would add that they are regularly cleaned, but not daily as there are only 2 of us in the house
Has anyone found any way of effectively removing the stains? I have tried soaking in bio washing powder, bleach and UPVC cleaners- to no avail
Does anyone know of a barrier I could apply to the underside of the seats to stop this staining?
If I'm going to 'waste' another £200 plus to replace them I want them to look better for longer
Never again. As my husband says its all expensive cr*p, next time we will fit cheap cr*p and we will get what we paid for
Rant over. Any suggestions welcome
