C Maintenance assessment

How would i go about having my payments assessed? At the moment my ex pays £51 a week but i'm sure he's earning more then he did 14 years a go.

If you are not already going through the CSA you could ask them to get his income figures so they can calculate what he should be paying you. If you are already going through them they should have carried out a reassessment ages ago and you are within your rights to ask for one.

Under the new rules he should pay 15% of his net income for 1 child, 20% for 2 children and 25 if there are 3 or more. He would get a "discount" for any children currently living with him whether they are his or not. He would also get a reduction of 1/7 for every night per week the child(ren) stay overnight with him.

  • Hi, i get £23.00 a week for 3 children for the last 7 years, csa was not interested in recalculating costs, as ex was originally paying rent to his landlady who he has married recently, so as she owns house outright surely there is no rent to pay.
