spent £300 on car & now problem back

I need your advise on what to do, My cars engine management light came on so telephoned the RAC to come out and they couldnt find a problem so advised us to take it to garage but the day before it was due to go in the light went out, about 2 weeks later it came back on so again telephoned RAC who said that 2 sensors had gone, i therefore took it to my local gagage who got an auto electrician to look at it. He said the car was running fine but as these codes had appeared we had them replaced at the cost of £300 then 2 days later the light has come back on again.
I feel ive just flushed £300 down the toilet. My question is what shall i do, Call the RAC out again then contact the garage or call the garage to see what they say.
I know it may be a different problem that has arisen but i hope not
Thankyou in advance for your help

Have you hoovered it recently?
Sometimes the wire that controls that light is connected under the seat. Airbag ones are there too. It's easily disconnected if you're hoovering under there.
(Can't see why you keep ringing the RAC - it's not a breakdown, is it? You should be dealing with the garage really.):A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:AThinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5

If the garage didn't do the job correctly first time round (legal terminology - didn't use reasonable care and skill) then they should be putting it right at no extra cost. This is obviously only applicable if it is the same problem or this new problem was caused by the first lot of work. I wouldn't involve the RAC again, they don't have any liability (unless the garage went by what they said the problem was) and it may be easier to keep it simple with just the garage.Little lady arrived 13/12/110

We bought a vectra estate and the same thing happens and the garage can't find whats wrong. They said it would cost alot for them to 'strip it ' and find the under lying problem. The guy we bought it off had the same problem and said that he was told to ignore it!! He is a doctor so we are trusting him!!! If something does go wrong though we aren't really gonna know!! Altogether it's been in 5 different garages and nothing can be found so fingers crossed! You may walk and you may run
