Mouse hover

Hello experts. I would like message text to pop-up and stay on screen for as long as my mouse is hovering over a message heading on MSE forums - at the moment the text goes away after a few seconds.

I use a tv guide called DigiGuide, and hovering there allows text to show up as long as I stay hovering.

I am guessing that this timeout period is site-specific, and so not changeable by the user?

There are several Firefox add-ons which show the 'alt attribute' pop-up text you are referring to. Google 'firefox pop-up alt' to find one which suits you.
