Double glazing spare lock required.

this part has broken so looking to replace it. The UPVC windows were already in the house so dont know who fitted them to get a replacement. however, im hoping that a MSE member might be able to point me in the right direction.

The spindle is the square shaped rod that extends from the handle into the mechanism in the sash (window).The spindle is not fixed to either it just slots in.

You nealry always get a spindle included when you buy the handle but you can use the existing one.

Toolstation do window handles for about £3.40. The spindle is usually quite long, allowing you to cut it down to the correct size if needed. Easy to do.
