Tall Headboard and Stairs

I am looking to buy one of those big (tall) padded headboards (the ones that go down back of bed to the floor).

I suddenly wondered how on earth it would go up the stairs?
My stairs are partly blocked in at the bottom with an open landing rail at the top but halfway up the stairs, the ceiling drops down a section.

Just wondered if anyone has had a problem with stairs when buying these headboards?

    Thanks ormus!
The one I was looking at seemed to be in one length down to the floor but I didn't pay much attention at the time. It was only when I came home that I started thinking about it going up the stairs.
