I have an lg 3d tv, when i select 3d no matter what format side by side, conversion etc the screen width reduces by an inch on either side of the tv screen
whatever screen size i select nothing will work to make it full screen
is this usual with all 3d tv's

I do not recall it happening with our Samsung. It is a plasma. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Try changing the aspect ratio , go to picture settings, aspect ratio and choose just scan that may help as it makes the source do the up scaling not the tv
Thats the setting i had on my old LG 3D tv and worked fine0 -
Certainly doesn't happen to mine. I would check on the aspect ration (press Q.menu and scroll around til you find it)Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0
