Has Scottish Power Online Energy Saver 17 been withdrawn?

It doesn't seem to be coming up on the comparison websites and the page on the Scottish Power website is being blocked.

Online Energy Saver 17 used to be 8.6% below the standard. It is now listed on their Previous Products page so I guess it has gone.

Hopefully 18 is on the way.

Seems like the Top 6 are getting rid of the loss leading tariffs. This was inevitable after British Gas spilled the beans on the whole dodgy dealing that's been going on - that their loyal standard tariff customers had effectively been overcharged to pay for the short term loss leading online tariffs that were offered in order to get to the top of the switching sites. The result is a fairer system for the vast majority of punters but it also means online savvies like us will pay more.

Hi Graeme,

Can you say if it will be replaced by Online Energy Saver 18 or something similar. My current SP deal expires end of February and so I am looking for something other than the Online Fixed I have been offered.
