IVA and divorce

Advice needed!!!
My partner is currently going through a divorce with his ex partner. Prior to the divorce proceedings starting but after they split up he entered into an IVA as they have a combined debt of approx £80k. She is not listed on this IVA. He is making the monthly payment. He has advised the company that they are seperated. My question is will she be chased for her half of the debt or because they are receiving a payment from him will she get off without having to pay for the debt at all. Once his IVA is finished after the 5 years, will the debt still show on her credit rating?
Any advice you can give me would be most appreciated

If any of the debts are in joint names I am afraid she will be responsible for the whole of the debt. If the debts were all solely in his name she should be OK.0

thank you for your help. The debts were in both of their names, she is trying to get out of paying them and she doesnt understand that although my partner is paying off his share through the IVA that her half is still outstanding. How will the debtors catch up with her as she keeps moving addresses? I just find it unfair that my partner has had to setup an IVA and pay it each month whilst she is getting away with it scott free. I 100% agree that the debt should be paid off but by both of them and not just him!0

It is not a case of her 'half'. When it is a joint debt you are jointly responsible for the FULL total. So If your partner pays off 25% she is liable to pay back the other 75%. We can't say when the creditors will chase her or how, that is up to them. And given the large figure they would be stupid not to.0
