Order not complete but charged full price and won't refund

I ordered some bits from a site it did seem cheap but was in their sale so ordered a few items. It came to £9 Inc postage. 2 items have been sent with postage my order says they are worth £5.
The site emailed me to say obviously the pricing was a mistake and therefore the additional items will not be sent but they are still charging me £9 for the items received.
Can they do this? I thought when items were dispatched then the seller is agreeing to the price stated and as they have only partially fulfilled the order to charge me for all the items is wrong.
What can I do?

Have you asked them to refund the difference? You say they haven't but you haven't said whether they've refused. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Hello yes I have and they refused thanks for any advice0

What's the site and how did you pay?0

Return the lot under the distance selling regulations.0

Hello it's she active and paid via paypal. Thanks again0

That would cure the symptom, but not the disease. I'd send a short concise email to the effect of
"You have charged me for x goods which you are unable to deliver. Therefore I request a full and immediate refund for those goods".
If they still refuse, contact Trading Standards. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -

I can't see anything on the website itself to say that they take PayPal (T&Cs say 2.4 You can pay for the Goods using any credit or debit card, except JCB and American Express.). Does that mean you bought via an ebay shop or similar rather than direct from the website? If so can you use the disputes procedure, or claim via PayPal (I know little about either of these I'm afraid)?0
