ebuyer.com newsletters - they never stop spamming - what to do with them

Options
ebuyer.com

Every time I received a newsletter from them I unsubscribe. I've done it 3 times.

I've sent them eNotes as well.

They still don't stop spamming with newsletters.

I had enough with them.

Could anyone guide me how to take legal action against them?

I don't think unsubscribe works, despite it being a legal requirement. I wrote to them and received a letter back saying they would stop but they didn't. I then reported it to the Information Commissioner who wrote to them giving them a month to stop, and that seems to have done the trick, it's now nearly 5 weeks since my last email from them. The more people that report it to the ICO the more likely it is that they will eventually do something to fix their unsubscribe processing.

absolutely report them to ICO. They have massive clout and not afraid to use it on behalf on a single person.
