We found a few cheap sticker books and crayons in nappy bag helps.
We would give LO a sticker, if it needed to go somewhere specific point to where it goes, that would take 2-3 mins. When he got bored of stickers we gave him the crayons. Animal ones were always good because we could ask him what it was, the colour, what it says.
He's now 2 1/2 and loves his sticker books when waiting for food. He will take the stickers off himself, spend ages puting it perfectly in the correct place, then chats on and on about it afterwards. If he finishes his food before us then the sticker book comes back out.Sealed Pot Challenge 2011 #11480
