Can the Inland Revenue use my salary as "joint income" if I am living separately but am still married to my husband who owes tax?

The Revenue can do a lot of things but they can't do that yet. You're not partners in a business or anything like that, are you?0

If it's income tax that is owed that his and his alone.
But if it's for a tax credit overpayment that was made when you were living together you might both be liable.
If he works they will just recover it from his wages if he won't make an arrangement with them directly.
