I've posted this before but here's my findings about dehumidifiers:
1) they're all overpriced in the UK for some reason
2) most are really poor build quality and while they will work well they won't last more than a year or two
3) Delonghi seem to be ok at the cheaper end
4) Ebac used to be good but seem to be trading off a reputation for quality that really doesn't exist any more. Although they do still offer a 5 yr warranty on many of their products, so this may be worth considering.
5) Mitsubishi are probably the pick of the bunch but cost twice as much
At the cheaper end look for something with a high capacity and some programmable modes. Quietness might be important too. At the expensive end just buy a Mitsubishi.0 -
Oh, last thing. I found dry-it-out.com to be excellent - amazing service and good prices when I was buying. This looks a decent bit of kit but try to find some reviews:

The mitsubishi that we bought has increased in price by over £100 in the past few months so I wouldn't even consider it now.0
