I said a big if. Taking the O/P at face value we and himself only have the word of his nice lady friend[STRIKE][see previous threads][/STRIKE] who lives 2 hours away for the claim it was (1) SE's fault, and the good lady (2) did nothing whatsoever to deserve the pre-paid being imposed on her.
Thank you I will certainly look into this.
And to clear one thing up. Like my friend, I am female. There is no ulterior motive to my kind act. :rotfl:0 -
your first post:She owes SE £400 due to bill errors on 'their' part
im very sure SE would dispute that part;
btw you never said how the £400 came about?0 -
How the £400.00 "debt" arose, is key?
If it is not correct, then I would thought you may well arrange for the prepayment meter to be removed after the debt has been taken off the meter and your friend reimbursed for the extra payments she has made0 -
more like £400 was oustanding, they obtained a warrant or force fitted for itDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

the OP just states its bill errors - and that what i would like to know - what are the rrrors exactly? estimated to meter read and a catchup bill is likely as you suggested ; but remember the law says the meter only needs to be read once every 2 years.0

Hello,
Has your friend spoken with someone in our call centre? If she is not happy with information provided she can ask to speak with a manager. Or alternatively she can send a message to our email address posted on our profile page and we can make sure she is on the best tariff possible for her. Thank you, Stef.

To all those that have replied. Firstly thank you for your input. I don't remember the exact details of how the debt came about so I will not post what I remember without checking with her the full story, which I will post here to clear things up.0

On more than one occasion she has spoke with your company and tried to come to a reasonable solution but sadly your company will not budge. She is not denying the debt or refusing to pay. I was originally making an enquiry as to whether she would have any sway with SE and if so I was going to help her contact them in the best way to see if something could be arranged.0 -
I would be more than happy to help resolve this matter for your friend. For me to do this I would require your friends details, which you can send to our email address on our profile page. Thank you, Stef.“Official Company Representative
