Monkey Puzzle Tree - taking it down..?

Monkey puzzles are very slow growing and, as others have said, don't have a dense canopy. The birds will enjoy having a safe, high place to perch and sing.
I would get rid of the other conifer and enjoy the monkey puzzle.0 -
A word of warning. Monkey Puzzle tree branches are covered in very sharp spikes which will cut clothes to ribbons and make deep puncture wounds in human skin, which can become infected. Anyone planning to DIY cut one down should hire a suit of armour first..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
