ShoeZone refused to exchange shoes after just 3 months

hello all,

does anyone know what i can do now, as i have tried to take the shoes back i bought after just 3 months and they refused to exchange them, the soles completely wore through to the other side making them useless, and they weren't even the main shoes i was using during that period as had other shoes i was using too

i wrote an email complaining about it, and they have basically refused to do anything about it, i insisted and then the area manager contacted me asking me to take the shoes in to another shoezone for inspection, and after that he refused to exchange them saying they were "worn out", i thought yes i know they are worn out that is why i am bringing them back as shoes should last more than 3 months - i have never had a pair of shoes in my life that lasted such a short time, and that includes shoes that were much cheaper

With all due respect, it very much depends what you were doing in the shoes and what the shoes were. If they were designed for a purpose and haven't fulfilled that purpose then that's one thing, however if you used them for something other than their intended purpose it's another entirely.

I bought a pair of £15 pumps and I purely used them with certain trousers to match my outfit - so not on a regular basis. Within a few months the sole had started to break, but for £5 a month I didn't think I'd had a bad deal. If I'd paid more, or had them for less time then I might have done.
