GAME stores around the UK are still taking deposits fort he PS3, guaranteeing it for release day....
When I called them they said they were shocked to still have that in stock, do you guys think there is not much demand? I have preordered a couple, and am worried they won't sell for much..

Idiot, let people who want them buy them on release day !!!!!!0

I wouldn't order them to sell on Ebay. Will be plenty of stock for a March release. They won't be that rare.
Plus there are more and more imports showing up in the UK (cheaper than official UK price) and even more will show up and the UK model is launched as it will become much harder to tell which are UK, US or Jap models and the imports will start up on Ebay (which Sony are blocking now).0 -
hmm
don't post on MSE to find out how to buy things to sell them more expensively on a sell out day.
People post on MSE where to find them for themselves not to sell on. We don't need to know your intentions. Notice this is a moneySAVINGforum...
If I really wanted a PS3 and someone like you bought one just to sell more expensively... i'd be a bit angry.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

I'm pretty sure there will not be a Wii type frezy surrounding PS3, people who are buying to cash in will probably end up out of pocket. They are too expensive, there will be too many of them and it's wont be christmas.0

Even if they are in short supply who is gonna pay more than £425!!??
Its not even xmas !!!!!!!!MSE's Xbox 360 guru.
Ask me anything!0 -
if worst came to worst - they could always be returned to store as an unwanted gift!To Stooze or Not To Stooze - Theres only one option0

That attitude is not suited for this forum, take it to some scammer forum where they agree with you.P1NSEEKER wrote:Even if they are in short supply who is gonna pay more than £425!!??
Exactly, expensive enough without people ruining it, I hope anyone trying to make a quick buck gets screwed over.
I preordered right away too, 1 for me which I want. When the Wii came out I got hold of one but several of my work colleagues struggled because the people who bought them to sell, I really hope EBay suspend sales of them for a month or so and you have to return them. I have no problem with people doing imports etc, this however is different. You are potentially damaging an industry and the future of the UK gaming market, if Sony were to over produce for a different console which then barely sold they would adjust their sales predictions and export less of their products over here. We get cut out on enough as it is.0 -
