First, it's only money and your life is worth a lot more than this, but I don't understand how you must feel: very down and very scared. Been there.

Secondly, you need to do a proper SOA with the various amount on your CCs and interest rates. It will clarify things and make it easier for people to help you.:

Also this above to decide how best to pay off your debt according to the amount you have to throw at it and the interest rates.

    Hi markharry

We want to add that you should ensure you are budgeting for the likes of food costs before working out how much you have to put towards credit debt repayments. It's important to be fair to yourself and budget realistically. If you want to go through a proper budget over the telephone our advisers will be more than happy to help. All the best

    Hi markharry

I know it is very difficult to deal with the pressure of debt, I have been there and understand the distress it causes but you have made a start posting in the forum

Everyone is right, it is only money and can be sorted out in some way or another.

I know it may seem like there is no light at the end of the tunnel but I had 3 times the debt you have and became debt free last month. It was not easy and at times felt a struggle but we got there.

There will be others that can offer more help than me but hope this gives you some moral support if nothing else !

    PLEASE read this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2077631

I am not n expert but speaking from experience the best thing you can do is ring one of the debt charities. The saying goes that a problem shared is a problem halved and that is honestly true. Once you make that 1st call they will advise you on the best way forward. It may all sound a bit scary but nothing compares to how scared you feel when you are so much in debt. It was the best thing we did, we got advice and got the ball rolling, it was a start.

I am not saying it is going to be easy and there will be highs and lows BUT it can be sorted out !!
