You will need to have a Visa to visit Cuba. See here for details:

If you have booked through a travel agent they should provide you with the visa. When I booked a last minute package they gave me the visa at Gatwick. You fill it in yourself.0

We are going to Cuba on 18th June 2 weeks AI with Thomson. Do we need to apply to the Cuban Consolate for a Tourist Card or can we get one from Gatwick Airport?

I fly out on Fri- If you book with Thomson you have to get your Visa yourself from the consualte- £15. If you book with most other tour ops they include it in the price. Don't forget, when you leave Cuba you have to pay approx £15 exit fee0

Not strictly a visa, but you need a tourist card. As others have said if you've bought a package holiday *most* agencies will organise it for you. Otherwise you can get it yourself, there are companies that will arrange it for you (for a fee) but it's really easy to get one direct from the embassy. The form is on the Cuban Embassy website here. You can also go to the embassy in person and get it. It costs £15 (cash or postal order, no personal cheques).
Also the exit fee is $25 Cuban Convertibles. It has to be paid in cash at the airport, after you have checked in.When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0 -
Don't forget you also need cash for Cuba. They will take certain credit cards but I'd check in your resort they wouldn't take the Nationwide when my mum was there last week,Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0

Hi
before going, check also if there is still the airport tax to pay in cash before leaving the country. When I was there, it was approx. 25 USD per person (now they will be Cuban pesos or euro) and be sure that you don't spend all your money before boarding the return plane.0 -
