Morning
Results yesterday were not as high as they would have liked but they are on the up so back to hospital tomorrow and hopefully i can be discharged then and put under my gp for weekly tests.
Lovely sunny day here in Lincs but deffo a cold one from what i can see from the living room window as the car not even started to defrost.
Just had to transfer some money from my Isa to do some shopping this week as BA is dwindling and i need to make sure its covered for bills, was a bit higher than i wanted but i did use mysupermarket and swapped where i could.
Weekly payments to all creditors still going through ok so at least i havent had to cancel any of my over payments as of yet.
The one day a week i pop out yesterday for a couple of hours and the postie comes and tells me they tried to deliver a package, thought i had a lucky win on a comp but then realised as its an A4 letter it will probably be the council sending all my things back which is ok as they would have only received it from me on Tuesday. I pay £6 to send it to them and they spend £2 sending it back lol.
Sister may be visiting this evening with my niece so that always cheers me up, she will take me to hospital in the morning hopefully for the last time. OH hopefully coming over tomorrow, he will get me up to date on all the jobs that needs doing, he is very good like that.
Well hope no-one gets snowed in this weekend and you all are surrounded by love xx2025 Wins ::

Morning All
Not masses been happening since my last update, living on the sofa and still on crutches means nothing overly exciting ever happens:rotfl:
Went to hospital saturday and my results had stayed the sameBut as its a long mile round trip and the weather was not looking good they discharged me on the basis i get a nurse to come round,
After 3 hours on the phone on monday they let me register at a new doctors closer to home . A nurse came round yesterday and i had hit the INR reading of 2 which is up slightly but this nurse still wants it to be higher  Anyway she cant come back till next week so upped my warfarin and i have to carry on injecting as and when they get delivered which could be anyday.
She did also say when i get the cast off i will probably still be no weight bearing for a bit and then physio and no driving until i can do an emergency stop, which is going to mean longer at work
Bank still dwindling so treading very carefully but yesterday the council paid a small amount in so im guessing my council tax relief has gone in, just hope i receive some paperwork from them soon to know how i stand on anything.
Boiler being serviced today but my landlord sorts all that out so no cost for me there.
But did realise two days ago my oil was running low, due to being at home and having that bit more useage seems its drained quickly with these cold days so had to order some more which fingers crossed will be delivered tomorrow but a nice £350 gone again
Talk about when it don rain it pours...( insert smiley holding a broken brolly)
Anyway just popped 50 party sausage rolls in the oven so i got something to munch on
have a good day xx2025 Wins ::

Urgh Update
Just had my award notices through the post from the council while i am off work and not as i would have hoped.
Dec was a normal month money wise and January was half my wages due to the accident. I explained all this, sent them a copy of my sick note letter from work saying i would be on SSP and they have based my money on the wage slip from Jan, so whereas the allowance here is £122 per week for my property they are paying me £64.
Council tax they originally said £16 a week, they are paying me £4
So they have based my income on £242 a week when it is actually £204.00 if you include my tax credits etc.:(
I gave them a call and they said to send in Feb wage slip when i get it as proof even tho they have proof and they may alter it...
With a rent to pay of £550 before anything else and an income over £816 a month this is going to be mighty tight if not impossible. I usually pay about £200 a month to creditors albeit some are overpayments so along with water phone etc etc etc im a little stuck me thinks2025 Wins ::

Oh i have been a bit naughty not updating this but so much going on in my life plus i am now officially addicted to competitions
Have won a few bits in the few weeks i been doing them but still waiting on my biggie win. All in good time i tell myself..
Managed to stop having to self inject due to DVT but on Warfarin now for 3 months but have managed to stabilise my bloods so thats good, can be done from home.
Had cast off my leg yesterday thank god :j:j:j:j only thing is the skin on my legs and feet are that dry im in agony when trying to walk, leaving a trail of skin everywhere and constantly rubbing creams in.
Still on ssp got to ring doctors this morning to arrange another sick note as cant drive for about 2 weeks but after having lots of chats i think im still going to go back to being self employed working from home so need to just do a bit more planning regarding that.
Got lots going on in my house at moment on a personal level, a family member who has suffered so badly since the shocking loss of our parents both dying so suddenly and it has resulted in self harm, drugs, drink and being homeless. I now have this member living in my house and it is taking its toll. More ups and downs than a rollercoaster xx2025 Wins ::

Awol member here
If someone could just slice this fog out the way i might be able to see thru the window! Lovely and warm yesterday and now 5 degrees this morning, unhappy mamfer here!
Right cast is off as i stated, still got dvt so still on warfarin, Have nurse coming to do my bloods and sadly it dropped a lot this week so have had to up it but at least im not injecting anymore.
Made the decision to hand my notice in at work, doctor has signed me off again to have physio and get my ankle strong which has started really hurting meand i sent it in with my resignation letter and a long one to my bosses thanking them but just explaining things in my life arent that good right now.
As i stated before family member staying with me things got worse with that person and had to call a crisis team but they couldnt help in the manner we liked, managing to control things slightly but its still putting a lot of strain on me.
Money is tight, like well tight and im having to watch every single penny more and more, with a school trip, an electric bill an old debt and car tax in 2 days it swiped me out!
Went to free bingo yesterday and OH won a tenner so thats my plan for Thursdays.
Mondays wednesdays and Fridays there is a large local car boot so we been gathering stuff from everywhere, even freecycle which i made sure people knew i would be selling so they were ok about it, it literally was junk!!!! 50 mile round trip collecting 5 loads!
When i say junk i mean broken keyrings a 1900's answering machine, a picture a kid had painted and scribbled on and some Tubi grip!!!!!:rotfl:
Also got my self employed position on the roll working from home although its a lot less obviously what i was earning with some car boots ( fingers crossed) and being very penny pinching i should just be able to manage and take care of my family.
Main thing is when it comes to school holidays i can be there for my daughter,
Right today will be sorting through these retro vintage antique junk things lol cleaning them up and seeing what people may actually want, 1st car boot is wed but looking at the weather it may be a cold one
