Feeling very very sorry for myself tonight, had my injection earlier all was ok, sat in living room for about an hour had a pasty came back into my bedroom started having a bit of a belly rumbling sensation.

Just been poorly sick which means if its a one off im ok but if not then i wont be able to go to the hospital tomorrow for my scan which leaves it all hanging over my head :(

Things are just going from bad to worse

I did continue to be sick through the night eventhough i had kept away from my dd but seems it was in the air, so at 6am this morning my sister legged it with my 5 month old niece so they werent affected.

Clearly due to being sick i couldnt go for my ultrasound so my sis rang up when she got home and cancelled it, all fine. They did suggest speaking to my Dr and asking them to leave the injection medication out to self medicate on my risk of DVT

So we ring them up and ask them if a district nurse can do this, apparently i live too far out so she said we can pick it up, im immobile i explain so have to ask my sister once again to go rushing about with a 5 month old to try and sort it

Cut a long story short, the pharmacist rings round everywhere and noone has it which can be normal because the amount you have goes on the weight you are.

But the doctors didnt have any either, so my sister calls the hospital again speaks to the sister who then says she is putting in a major complaint towards my doctors surgery because they are not stocking medication that they should!!!

I may be able to get some tomorrow and then self inject which im not a fan of but i cant keep having my sister doing a 25 mile round trip with the baby.

Seriously got to hope i dont start getting the pains again or its 999 for me tonight

dd feeling a little better just managed to get a shower, she managed a jacket spud today so feeling a little brighter

i however am seriously going through the motions and rumbling is an understatement,

Back to the land of oh woe is me xx

    Morning world

Not a late riser honest lol been up since 6 doing some work from home.

Dd still very toilet based so kept her off school today, she is being a dream helping me out with jobs etc didnt realise i needed 2 legs so much to do stuff! Already writing lists of when im mobile again of getting things done round the house.

No-ones mentioned any physio or anything yet which i suppose they will but if anyone been i a similar position feel free to let me know what to expect.

Hospital called this morning and i have rebooked my scan for the dvt for monday which is good news, Sister turned up with my needles yesterday so today will be first day of injecting myself

Just done my online shopping always using mysupermarket and Asda always comes out top for me but how on earth an people afford to shop with Ocado!! Their prices are shocking!!

Right off to do some wobbling about, doesnt look like bf will make it over this wknd so might have to ask dd to help me into the shower, hair is resembling a nest. She " bleurghss" at the mention of it bless her so will have to find a way of her doing it with her eyes closed

Really hoping hb forms come through today as only have 3 weeks till rent due again and i know they are not always the quickest plus i need everything sorted to post off on monday.

Chilly here today and also seen weather forecast and looks like its gonna be a cold one this weekend so wrap up warm all its duvets and extra socks on the sofa for us today so as to make last yr's oil last

    xx

    :(:(:(

    Sad times,

Went to hospital yesterday for my ultrasound and they found a clot :(:(

Very upset about this as i hadnt felt any more pain so i had dismissed it thinking " oh it wont be me" and it is.

I have been put on warfarin, and my injections. Im back in hospital every 2 days so they can check my bloods to make sure the warfarin is thinning my bloods how they need it to. Once they are at the level they want my GP can take over care for me. I am on it for 6 months and in stockings for 2 years :(
Lots of side effects with the warfarin and i have to be ultra careful i dont cut myself, bruise myself etc, Drinking plenty of liquids and moving about as much as i can, whilst being on crutches, which is limited i have to admit.
Very down about it all and not afraid to say im a bit scared too.
So much in the last year has gone wrong in my family its madness.
I live alone with my daughter so im worried for her, my one sister who is able to help me is off to Sri Lanka any time now as her partner lives over there and their daughter is now 5 months so shes over there for a bit and my other sister is mentally unstable. My partner has a few problems too and im so worried for my dd. I know it might be nothing it might get cleared up but when your a parent you cant help feeling all these thoughts.

The weather is so cold here, as im sure it is everywhere but of course not getting any sick pay means lack of money coming in. Im on oil here ive got some left but now its constant duvet days and nights to make sure it gets me and my dd through this cold spell.
HB forms came through on friday and i managed to find everything they needed and posted that off special delivery yesterday at the small cost of £5.90  was only £1.80 recorded but so worried it would be delayed or lost that i went the whole monty. Hopefully as they have everything they have asked for there wont be any delays but i still do understand these things can take a little time.

Right off to get every freebie i can, enter every competition i can, do my swagbucks and play free whoohoo bingo, anything to try and raise a few squiddlies

    xxx

A sprinkling of snow here in lincs but seems to have stopped now which is good as...........

Hospital today :( Really hoping my levels have come up or its back on sat morning too.

Dd being a total sweetie still and helped me in the shower yesterday, my money saving tip is using a big bag around my leg wrapped in cling film and then sellotape lol, the hospital wanted £15 for a leg covering so while money is tight that was a no go. Cant say its my most appealing look but it works.

Bank account slowly dwindling down not major issue at moment so just hope the council will get on with my claim sooner rather than later, my wages go in on 17th this month but as its only ssp ill be £700 down and its not enough to pay the rent let alone anything else.

Right off to do some comps and stuff surely im due a bit of luck lol xx
