Hi
I have recently discovered that my guttering is been leaking so badly that the water has been runnning down the wall, consequently corroding the cement away from the bricks and therefore causing further damage. I have tried contacting my house and contents insurancer- (MMA) on the 6th on Feb but after having been on hold for more than 10 minutes with an automated voice telling me that due to adversed weather conditions, to please expect long delays in answering my query and alternatively to log into their web site and send e-mail, which I did. I have since tried and calling them again on the 8th-Feb, however, ended up sending e-mail as the same thing happened when I tried to call, only this time I was on hold for 15 minutes.
It is now the 12th Feb and I still havent heard anything, I am extremelly frustrated and will therefore appreciate it if anyone knows what I could be doing next to get their attention.
Thanks to all, great forum
JJ
