Ok guys, I'm in a bit of a quandary now.... I have just done my list for shopping tomorrow (I normally shop once per month for 'dry goods' and once per week for fresh stuff like fruit/ veg/ milk etc) and have about £70 worth of offers... 7x the capacity of my SP! I intend to put the extra into my sp as I use them.... So my question is this....

Do I put £70 in P2 this week for all the offers? Or, put £10 in P2, buy the offers as part of my normal shop and spend the £10 on extra stock?!

    :/ eppp

Personally as your just starting out, id spend half as grocery budget buys that go straight in the cupboard and half as 'stock' to be bought back later, of your stretching your budget very thin when your buying it back through the month as you'll effectively be paying twice in one month if it all goes in the SP, once to stock and then again to buy it back to use it IYSWIM

Thanks JM, I hadn't thought of that!! I think I will do what you've suggested, but I will go back and scrutinise my list again...

Is it wrong that I am TOTALLY excited about doing this challenge....?

Also, do you guys keep your 'shop' in a different cupboard, or do you just use the spreadsheet ( which I have copied btw, thx to whoever made that!) to manage it?

Cupboard? When buying my new bed I chose one with the specific intention of storing as much in it as possible :p
