I don't think my recommendation worked, I'm going to call them next time I order and query it, I think it's because the Internet wasn't letting me order online so I ordered by phone. Mothershipdid you get your goodies for my order?

Now that's weird because I think I had your email, will forward it to you :D

LOL@ polkadot....I have brought a friend along with me a few times now shopping for bargains but she just doesn't get it. So constantly asks why i need 20 of one product :rotfl: these last few days though she has actually asked me where i get my bargains from and is thinking of doing herself next pay day ;) maybe another convert in the making here .......!
See that's the thing...I have two friends in particular who frustrate me no end-though the one is "coming along nicely",she knows about MSE and she knows I live by a lot of whats here When I came to England I was overwhelmed by how different it was/is-back home if you wanted washing powder you get a choice between Surf and Omo,fabric softener? Sunlight or sta-soft? And the only place you got a loyalty card was Clicks. I found MSE in those days and kinda felt better that I had a bit of an idea what I was doing.

To digress some more-an anecdote that expresses my "idea" of London. The first time DH (then DF) took me into Arg0s,he was paging through a catalogue and complaining about something when I said: "Well babe, why dont we just go inside the shop?":o
So this friend wont come on here, but she watches my FB posts and shares some of what I post. This particular friend I was thinking of has a DS in my DS class. She's a single mum with no income and currently catching up on numeracy and literacy. She wont get on a pc at all and only shops in MrS:(
I'm a little confused about this next in line business, I would like to be added to the queue but no idea what we are queueing for lol I don't want to be left out!

That made me laugh!Talk about being "committed to the cause";)

Yah I keep forgetting about the golden syrup!!! It's because I don't have mr a in London, will go today thank youuuu :)

Whereabouts in London are you Kerri?

Ive just been going through the Lido's thread and Ald!'s site for the next two weeks shopping and MrT post just dropped on the mat. Noticed a rewards booklet in it-you think they'll bring back DP's?

So Im going to carry on with my little hunt.Ive always tried to be as savvy as I can.But the second purse has made me look at things completely differently.

Which reminds me-someone said about the sausages?
Lido's weekend deals has 8 British sausages for 74p so for £2.96 you get 32 sausages.

    Also:Granulated sugar is 89p for 1kg-MrA and Mr T is 99p.

    In Aldi:
Oven Brite oven cleaner-£2.49 (MrT equivalent is £3.99)
    Magnum
    DW cleaner 2x250ml
    =1.99 (MrT's own brand= 4.15)
    WM cleaner =1.99 (Mr T = 3.00)

All of those are noted for Saturday 18/Sunday 19 (Ald1 only has the Sunday so thats when I'll go.

Thanks guys for keeping me up to date

I hope you don't mind me doing this but would hate for anyone to be left out or queue jump :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So we now have 3 strands

    1) Flyin Fresian
    2) dfw21
    3) Marrbett

(still waiting for eddi to get back to me)

Thought we could rotate the strands

To recommend DR next in line is Flyin fresian

If you are recommened please let me know and I will replace their name with yours, sorry if I'm being a tad sad :D

Sorry Sue, look what happens when you don't go on the thread for a few hours :rotfl:

No you certainly didn't queue jump....I hadn't expressed an interest yet. I was trying to keep track and ask someone at the end of the line but you've very kindly done all the legwork :T I haven't had an order yet so I'll be a DR newbie so if I could tag on a list and someone could recommend me I'd be grateful. Then I'll recommend someone afterwards :)

Im feeling a bit daft-my spreadsheet was looking wonky on the second purse page but the stockpile page made sense-which made the other one even more frustrating.Anyway,I deleted it all and started again with the "prespreadsheet" amount. Now it makes sense and balances.

I was going to invite a friend to come along on Monday when I go for my "proper browse" at C0stc0. But then when I was typing the message I thought "no,I want to keep it for me"-is this what life has come to? My dirty little secret is the local cash and carry? And now I feel guilty and cant decide whether to send her the message or not:eek:

:rotfl: :rotfl: That genuinely really made me laugh. Almost spat out my coffee!

Also, I did the same with my spreadsheet, it was all squiffy because I'd stockpiled some stuff before joining the challenge but once I'd sussed out the pre-sheet bit it all worked fine.
