  • Morning all

mothership I would have given them a bl00dy good ticking off for talking about me like i wasn't there grrrrrr. AND pointed out to them that you had complained but it's not your fault if they are too ruddy stupid to do anything about it.!!

Anyway a nsd here so no spending. DH bought a few things from the shop (cereal for the kids & snickers) so i will pay the 2nd purse later on :)

My AF order is on it's way but they were out of stock of the cat food :( not that i have a cat lol but i wanted to help mum out. They've credited my account +40p (20p for each one that was out of stock) will leave that in there till next time. So that is £4.50 ish off my next order.

LOL@ polkadot....I have brought a friend along with me a few times now shopping for bargains but she just doesn't get it. So constantly asks why i need 20 of one product :rotfl: these last few days though she has actually asked me where i get my bargains from and is thinking of doing herself next pay day ;) maybe another convert in the making here .......!

FF the offers look ok to me :) I also got those sausages! Have 4 packs in the freezer :rotfl:do you shop at ald1 or lid1? They do some good handwashes in there if you're not bothered about brand. I picked up 2 the other day think they were 500ml for 55p.

Anyway need to get kiddies dressed i need to be somewhere by 10 for birthday cake and tea :rotfl:

I don't think my recommendation worked, I'm going to call them next time I order and query it, I think it's because the Internet wasn't letting me order online so I ordered by phone. Mothershipdid you get your goodies for my order?

  • Yay! My AP order arrived :T and I've just spent the last twenty minutes wrapping batches of noodles lol. The unit price comes to 9.7p / 100g compared to 43p / 100g at the supermarket, which is very good! But I've weighed up the 'portions' and they are a bit larger than the branded ones. So I'm going to cook up a block before decided how to compare them, IYSWIM. Ditto the pizza and bread mixes - I don't really know how to compare like with like so I'll see how much I use before setting prices.

I have designated a built-in-cupboard in the bedroom as my 'shop'. My OH is getting surprisingly into the spirit of things! I suspect that this is because I've told him it's a 'challenge', usually he gives me a little lecture on hoarding and how we're not going to starve.

Hi Kerri I just got a delivery a few minutes a go, no free gift :(

Went to M@rris@ns last night with DD2 and bought 4 packs of the Surf soap powder @ £2.50 each Lol . Couldn't resist it 100 washes for £10. I bought it with my 1st purse, I still have £70 left over from Jan £200 budget, that I didn't spend, I forgot about that.
One of the best things about doing this purse thing for a while, is there's always money in one of them LOL.
I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about getting some more of that soap powder deal maybe another 10. That would still leave me £35, I'm thinking I could get my Sumo Oats as well, Hmmm what should I do?

The De Cecco pasta is also on offer on Tesc@ at the same price, I bought it from @mazon because they deliver it right to your door :D And its one of the best pastas.
Just a thought, recently a lot of the things that have come up on @mazon cheap have been on offer for the same price in one of the SM, so they may be watching.
I think I saw something where you can tell @mazon if you see something cheaper anywhere to tell them, bugga I cant find it now.

I got the following a while back £13 , its lovely flour. Good for anyone into making bread. Sieve it first though, There's some quite big bits of bran in it, though t wont do any harm to leave them in.
