Can anyone help me on this kind of confused, got these phones yesterday but my problem is with the second base / handset.
The underneath of that phone only allows as far as I can see for 1 cable to be plugged into it which is the power cable?
Now the second handset cant be used till you register it to the base. Now the instructions say put headset as close to base and make sure batteries are charged then press options then register on handset after you press the page button on the base.
Now unless I am mistaken their is no page button on second base?
I registered second handset to first base so as I could put phone into use.
Now I can get both phones to ring and both display callers id etc if u phone the phone and you can then enter that no into phone.
However their is a problem when you use the second handset to phone out with noise distortion. Should this be the case?
Should I have been able to register the second handset to the second base?
Why does the second base not plug into the phone socket?
Have I missed something simple?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Yove done it correctly, you only need one base unit, a base unit can take 4 or 5 handsets, the second is just for charging, the second handset gets its connection from the Main Base Unit.
Although I don't know why you have distortion on the second handset. maybe give support a ring on 0870 605 8047.

Thanks for your help glad I had not got it set up wrong. Phoned the tech line just there and they said to move phone closer to base to see if that helped which kind of defeats having the second set considering there is only 10 meters - 15 meters of a distance between both.0
