Scam: Neil Johnson Global Solutions

I have just been phoned by 'Global Solutions' telling me that I had a problem with my software and as I was a registered Microsoft user they were phoning me to tell me that I had a problem with the software and that they had been authrosied to help me sort it out. If I didn't I was warned it could damage my hard drive.

He wanted to look at my event viewer and suggested that some of the errors on the log were a virus I had downloaded! I needed to allow him to have remote access to my PC to help him get rid of the virus for me!

I challenged him and he give me a number 02032392798 and a name Neil Johnson and tried to arrange a time to call me back! Bless.

This is a scam. When they get access to your PC they can view anything.

yes, please use forum search to pickup on any of the circs 5 threads a week started on EXACTLY this subject....

any useful help ceased when people got bored after about the 115th new thread on the subject..... now they just tend to be used to berate the OP for not noticing any of the identical threads at the time of posting.
