It's common for a restaurant to add 18% for groups of 6 and above. 15% is still the norm as far as I'm concerned.I was referring to general US tips , Ive just got back first trip in 3 years , gratuities now expected 18% and up ( didnt it used to be 15% ? )
Bar is $1 a time for me (not that I use bar's that much nowadays). Americans normally tip anything that moves, including shuttle drivers. I carry my own case on / off the shuttle at Cincinnati airport. If I got the driver to carry the case to my car and put it in the boot (like some people do here) I'd tip a couple of dollars.Bar ?
